Celebrate National Chicken Wing Day with 10 cent wings at The Bavarian at Grand Central on Sunday 29 July!
There will be a line up of spicy challenges, red-hot prizes and of course, 10-cent wings all day long.
Check out this fiery challenge: Ghost pepper wings smothered in a special sauce made with three different kinds of pepper: cayenne, habanero and the hottest of them all, ghost pepper.
Competing for a $200 restaurant voucher, contestants will eat one dangerously hot ghost pepper wing a minute, with the last person left standing crowned the Ghost Pepper Challenge champion. The challenge costs $20 to enter and kicks off at 3pm at all Bavarian locations.
If you want to live on the edge you can order a Wing Roulette ($20), which includes a basket of five saucy diablo wings with a surprise ghost pepper wing in the mix.
Cool your tastebuds with brews on tap, including imported favourites Löwenbräu, Franziskaner, Stiegl and Hofbräu, as well as a large range of craft beers, all of which can be enjoyed from the Bavarian’s famous 1 litre glass steins.
