Clifford Gardens: Locals we love initiative

By Toowoomba Living · On March 4, 2018

Cliffos is showing some of our local charities some love this month, and you can help!

Clifford Gardens has launched their “Locals We Love” initiative to support three big-hearted charities who offer vital care services to the local community in and around the Toowoomba region.

From March 1 to 21, every $20 spent at Clifford Gardens will earn shoppers a token to cast a vote for the charity closest to their heart, with the winning charity earning a $2,500 first prize.

Food Assist, RSPCA Toowoomba and YellowBridge QLD are the three worthy charities being supported this month.

The charity with the most tokens will receive a $2,500 prize, and the runners-up will receive $1,500 for second and $750 for third.

Shoppers can redeem their tokens by taking your receipt to the Customer Service Desk opposite Terry White Chemist, where the voting boxes will be set up, ready to be filled.

The three chosen charities are all not-for-profit organisations who have been serving Toowoomba’s residents for many years.

Food Assist assembles and distributes food hampers to over 2,500 needful people every single month in Toowoomba and Regional South-West Queensland.

RSPCA Toowoomba finds forever homes for deserving domestic pets, and provides vital animal ambulance services, micro-chipping and animal care education sessions.

YellowBridge QLD arranges short and long-term housing for people experiencing difficulties, and donates 60,000 hours every year to helping people with disabilities develop important life skills and become contributing members of our community.

This a fantastic opportunity to ‘give back’ to organisations who make a huge impact in areas that need love and support the most.

Remember to redeem your tokens each time you shop, and join with Clifford Gardens in helping those who help others.
