Share table dining on the menu at Grand Central

Gathering your people for a catch up over food is hard in 2018. Not only do you have to plan your calendars with military precision but once you’ve locked in the when you’ve also gotta agree on the where.

Grand Central is making it easy for a group catch up with its multi-course share table events in August!

Marketing Manager Marieke Bridgeman said for $60 you’ll get a three course dinner and drinks from a selection of Grand Central’s restaurants.

“People can share in this exclusive dining experience with fellow foodie enthusiasts. They can come on their own, or they might like to get a group of family or friends together to enjoy the night,” Ms Bridgeman said.

“Each shared dining event will showcase three of Grand Central’s restaurants, serving up a delicious selection of signature entrees, mains and desserts, with an included drink for each course.”

And the best part is, it’s a progressive dinner, without the walking. A long table will be set up in a common space so you and your foodie buddies can stay in one spot for your dinner!

Here’s what you can eat and when:

Thursday 16 August 7pm-9pm 
Entrees: Vapiano – Shared antipasti platters
Mains: Yum Cha – A shared selection of meats, vegetables, signature dishes and rices
Desserts: Max Brenner – Shared chocolate fondues or chocolate pizzas, with individual hot chocolates

Sunday 19 August 5pm-7pm

Entrees: The Bavarian – Giant pretzels and pork bao buns
Mains: Vapiano – Shared pizza and pasta
Desserts: Max Brenner – Shared chocolate fondues or chocolate pizzas, with individual hot chocolates

Wednesday 22 August 7pm-9pm

Entrees: Vapiano – Shared antipasti platters
Mains: Chong Co – Three signature dishes, chicken massaman, lamb and pork dishes with rice to share
Desserts: Max Brenner – Shared chocolate fondues or chocolate pizzas, with individual hot chocolates

Sunday 26 August 5pm-7pm 
Entrees: Yum Cha – A mixed selection of dumplings and a signature squid entree dish to share
Mains: The Bavarian – Shared mixed platters
Desserts: Vapiano – A selection of Italian desserts

Tuesday 28 August 7pm-9pm 
Entrees: Chong Co – Pulled pork bao and another signature item off menu
Mains: The Bavarian – Shared mixed platters
Desserts: Max Brenner – Shared chocolate fondues or chocolate pizzas, with individual hot chocolates

Thursday 30 August 7pm-9pm
Entrees: Chong Co – Pulled pork bao and another signature item off menu
Mains: Vapiano – Shared pizza and pasta
Desserts: Yum Cha – A selection of dessert dumplings and sweet menu items
