Theatre: Titanic – Thursday 13 August-Saturday 15 August
Hands up if you thought there was room on that plank of wood for Jack? Yeah, me too. In another interpretation of that timeless story Toowoomba Grammar School and Fairholme College present Titanic at the Empire Theatre. Featuring 44 main characters it promises to be a thoroughly polished and entertaining production. Tickets are $25 for adults, see the Empire Theatre website for more.
Exhibition opening: Together as One – Friday 14 August
TheGRID hosts the official opening for the Together as One – a PhotoVoice Project about the experience of foster care. Featuring photos and stories the exhibition runs from 5 to 31 August. The official opening is at 6pm.
