Gig: The Strums at TheGRID Sound – Friday 31 July
Brisbane indie punk band The Strums is bringing their high energy show to TheGRID Sound on Friday night. They’ll be supported by locals Project 62 and Mystik Crystal Witches. Doors open at 8:30pm, entry is $10 and the show is all ages/licensed. Cash bar only (with ID).
Outdoor Adventure and Motoring Expo – Friday 31 July-Sunday 2 August
For the latest in caravans, camper trailers, motor homes, vehicles and 4WDs, camping gear and accessories head to the Showgrounds this weekend for the Outdoor Adventure and Motoring Expo. Charity Lunch with Michael Lynagh – Wednesday 5 August
Wallabies fans don’t miss your chance to attend a charity lunch with former captain Michael Lynagh at Fitzy’s. He’ll be signing copies of his new book Blindsided. Outdoor bars, pop up kitchens, delicious degustation menus – the fourth annual James St Food & Wine Trail will include cooking classes from Gerard’s Bistro Ben Williamson and a kids’ camp at Angelo’s Pasta.
